Form requests (FRs) are entities that reference the data required for a tax form (Modelo 210) for a full fiscal quarter, respectivly fiscal year after 2024. A form request can be filed for a closed tax period or for the current one. Beginning in 2024 the tax form (Modelo 210) must be filed once a year and the due date is from the 1st until 20th of January the following year. At RETax we accept the form requests for the current tax period until 15th of January of the following year, in order to verify, complete and process them. Prior to 2024, Form requests must be submitted on a quarterly basis. A Form request can be created by the property owner or system generated (7) in case of amortization for a previous period. A property owner can create Standard Form Request (SFR) (3), Quick Form Request (QFR) (4) or Platinum Form Request (PFR) (5) for a particular property (2). A new SFR, it is automatically in state open, in case of system generated, the property owner needs to open it (9). Only open SFRs can be processed by the accountants. When the property owner has entered all the expenses and the income for a quarter/year, he should create or open a form request to enable the accountants to process it. Form requests can be set to open for the current tax period in case the user has an active subscription or Form request credits. In case of a closed tax period, Form request credits must be provided.

Existing SFRs can be edited (12), set in status open (9), processing (10) and confirmed (11). In case of FR in status higher than processing the tax expenses (8) can be viewed.

To navigate to the Form requests view, just click on the Form Requests button (1) on the sidebar, as shown on the image above. On the top on the view you can select the property (2) to which you want to see the Form requests.

Create form request

To create a new SFR just click on the plus button (3) and fill the necessary fields. For QFR or PFR respectively button (4) or (5). If you already have some system generated FRs (7), generated by some amortization, you can click on the button open (9) in the table or simply create new SFR for the period and it will patch the system generated one.

TIP

To enable the accountants to start processing your Form request it must be in open state!

Tax expenses

When your Form request gets processed (it is in status processing (7)) by an accountant, you can view the tax expenses by clicking on the tax expense button (8). Tax expenses are the expenses as they get sent to the tax office. For example if you have an amortization expense, in the section tax expenses it will be shown with the portion getting amortized for the specific period.

Inspect form request

Once a SFR is in ready status you can review the Tax expenses and either confirm (11) it or put it back in processing (10) status for the accountant to check again. You can inspect the SFR clicking on the button tax expenses (8) in the table. In case you have some amortization it will be seen in the tax expenses as the portion of the amortization for the particular tax period. To edit a SFR you have to click on the edit button (12).
